Bloggers Fest 2011 Held

Az & Mica @ Bloggers' Fest

Last April 16, 2011, the long planned Bloggers Fest 2011 by Azrael Coladilla and Thunderbird Resorts pushed through.

It was held at the new Event Center of Thunderbird Resorts in Rizal. It also coincided with the awarding ceremony of the “Extraordinary Video Contest.”

Attended by about 200 Bloggers, the Bloggers Fest served as a venue for blog-related mentorship among Filipino bloggers mostly from Metro Manila.

The series of topics and workshops covered basic blogging, introductory SEO, personal blogging, and photoblogging, among others.

Yours truly of Blogger Manila was able to share and discuss the topic entitled “Writing with SEO in mind,” (Jonel Uy). I shared to the bloggers how search engines and spiders work in the Internet and how to incorporate SEO in writing in their blogs.

The event ended past 8pm due to the late start. Other than that, the Bloggers Fest was a success in the aspect of sharing information and knowlege to most of the newbie bloggers.
