Spotify Tatak Pinoy Live on TV5’s Vibe has named pop-alternative rock band Over October as its first fan-voted headliner!
This milestone brings together streaming culture and primetime television to elevate Filipino artists onto a bigger stage. Selected through votes on the Vibe with Tatak Pinoy playlist, Over October‘s win highlights how Tatak Pinoy Live empowers fans to champion the artists they love.
The first cycle featured 3 nominated tracks from the Tatak Pinoy playlist on Spotify reflecting the vibrance and diversity of today’s Pinoy music scene: “Dahan” by Over October, “Sulyap” by Arthur Miguel and “BLACK N’ WHITE” by Dilaw.
Spotify Tatak Pinoy Live Headliner – Over October
Over October ultimately secured the top spot and took the Tatak Pinoy Live Stage last November 23 Vibe broadcast, bringing their music to a stage co-curated with Spotify and shaped by fan support.
For fans, the moment was just as special. Select Octobears who voted for “Dahan” enjoyed exclusive access to the Spotify Premium Fan Lounge, where they met the band and spent time with fellow fans before the show. They also got a front-row view of Over October’s performance on the Tatak Pinoy Live stage – a unique access for fans to experience the music up close.
