Manila FAME
Blogger Manila was able to catch Manila FAME: The Design & Lifestyle Event, yesterday March 14, 2014, on its opening day. The exhibition is currently held at the SMX Convention Center until March 17, 2014.
It was my first time to attend Manila FAME and the exhibition was full of creative works by talented individuals. From crafts to jewelries, to furniture. The showcase was indeed a testament of how creative Filipinos are.
The exhibit also presented limited photography opportunities to protect the intellectual properties and intricate designs of the creators. But as a member of the media, we were given a chance to take some photos.
Here is a set of snapshots of the Manila FAME:

Rencie Santos and Neil Felipp San Pedro arre some of the designers featured. They are joined by Earl Gariando’s Collection: “Baroque Rockstar – Foil Pack Series” using materials recycled foil, cow leather, and brass. Angela Angeles also showcased her collection: “Filipina Femme” featuring clutches and accessories using materials Mother-of-Pearl, fish leather, and metal alloy.
