OPPO Celebrates National Selfie Day at Enchanted Kingdom

The last time that our family visited Enchanted Kingdom was about four years ago. So when I found out that we’ll be going back for the OPPO National Selfie Day for Blogger Manila and Gadget Gambit, I was delighted especially when I found out that I can bring along my family.

The celebration coincided with our local holiday – Bonifacio Day – so there’s no work and school so I brought along my hubby and 2 kids.

National Selfie Day Celebrations with OPPO

The day started early with an 8am pick up time from Trinoma Mall where we live nearby. We were welcomed by the OPPO Team and Spark It PR and presented us with morning snacks, Enchanted Kingdom tickets, and wizard money that we can be use to buy food or whatever we want inside the theme park.

Travel time was a little past an hour going to Sta.Rosa, Laguna.

Upon arrival, the kids were too excited and they immediately wanted to go on the rides. However, we had to hold our horses as, as a group, we first went to the holding are for the guests, media, and bloggers at the Eldars Theater for a quick briefing and the rest of the day was our free-time with the family.

Knowing the excitement of the kids once we started, I decided to have a light lunch first before having the kids go on the rides. Just light enough but not too much as you don’t want them having an upset stomach when on the rides.

Our family love theme parks, and seeing your kids enjoying the place is a rewarding feeling. Eventhough, I was not able to try some of the rides due a prior health condition, it was so much fun and we had a great time.

And since it was #NationalSelfieDay, we obviously took a lot of selfies with various picturesque and selfie-worthy spots around Enchanted Kingdom, we made sure to capture each moment with our OPPO smartphones.

It was a day of unlimited access to the park attractions and a variety of food choices around each park zone. In the late afternoon, there was a concert where OPPO announced the National Selfie Day online contest with more than 100 phones to be given away this Christmas Season. An apt campaign for the Philippines, being named as the selfie capital of the world.

Aside from the #NationalSelfieDay Online Contest, OPPO Philippines also officially announced the limited edition Red OPPO F5 6GB as the newest addition to the F5 line-up. It will be exclusively available at OPPO concept stores in the Philippines starting December 9, 2017 with a price of Php 21,990. Every purchase comes with a free Olike Bluetooth speaker worth Php2,990.

OPPO also shared the news of its partnership with Miss Possibilities, a beauty pageant for young women with special needs. Both organizations believe in redefining beauty and thus, are one in their cause in capturing the real you in every person. A lot had fun especially when singer-songwritter Chito Miranda had a special performance. The night was finally concluded with a magical fireworks display.
