The Philippine blogosphere has definitely grown significantly in terms of numbers since 2010. The lot consists of different types of bloggers and individuals, from topic-focused bloggers on travel/entertainment/food, to magazine-types which discuss about anything under the sun.

I started BloggerManila.com with the intention of focusing on the topics of social media, blogging, and online engagements. Although the ‘online engagements‘ part are more personal detailing my activities and ‘engagements‘ online, I intend to further open up and share the first two.

Having started October 10, 2010, readers would observe from my posts that most are knowledge-based discussing basic information and know-hows about information technology, blogging, and social media. I would like to take this to the next level and start a community-based group similar to the successful NomNom Foodie Club which started years ago, and the more recent Let’s Go Travel Club. It will be called the Blogger Manila Club.

The Blogger Manila Club would basically be a group of bloggers interested in learning and sharing their blog and social media- related knowledge, both technical and otherwise, with each other. Ideally, there would be group discussions or small seminars related to the mentioned topics. Just be an email subscriber of BloggerManila.com and you are free to join!

It is not equivalent to being a BMC official member, being a BMC official member has a different set of requirements).

It’s nice to see that someone is taking up the effort to initiate something like this. Good luck!

Thanks Dennison. This is not an encompassing blogger association though.

It’s more of a focus group that shares knowledge with each other and discusses matters relevant to blogging and social media. :)

      Cheers!
