Search for the Blogger Apprentice
With last month’s announcement of the Search for the Blogger Apprentice, a number of newbie and and not-so-new bloggers have already applied. If you are still interested, you still have a few days to go before the application closes.
For more than a month now, the applicants have received a number of article assignments and blogger event engagements in different areas and blogging niche. You would see their output as guest bloggers in our Blogger Manila Network blogs with their byline. Interested applicants only need to email admin AT bloggermanila.com.
As the month of August approaches, the search will soon come to a close and the blogger apprentices will soon be identified. Here are some important dates to remember:
August 08, 2011 – Last Day of application to be part of the search
August 11 19, 2011 – Announcement of the Final 6 (Finalists)
August 20, 2011 – Finals Night and Blogger Apprentice Final Challenge
August 21, 2011 – Announcement of the 3 chosen Blogger Apprentice for 2011
The Finals Night will start with a dinner at Zong Restaurant followed by an overnight event with free accommodation and next-day breakfast courtesy of Gran Prix Hotel in Cubao, Quezon City (August 27 is also being considered as an alternative date to Aug 20 Finals Night in case of typhoon).

I learned blogging on my own. I updated my knowledge based on my needs and I know I’ve got loads of things to learn. It’s nice that veteran bloggers like you hold this kind of promotions. It’s like a Pay-it-forward program bloggers style which is by holding an online contest/search. Hopefully more bloggers get inspired with this idea of abundance.

We had to prematurely close the application due to high turnout of applicants having reached almost 20.

I take it that applications have closed, but I was wondering if there was any way to get training in Blogging regardless?
I’ve been blogging for a while for a more international sort of audience, but having knowledge into making it profitable is what I lack, especially since I just bought my own domain a month or two ago.

It seems that what you need in specific on “Making Money Online” since you were already blogging for sometime.
This Blogger Apprentice Program is more on guiding newbies on the basics of blogging, and not necessarily making money online.
